I saw an amazing Louis Vuitton (Japanese) CM a while back. The music was so fitting and catchy but I didn’t know the artist at the time. So I just remembered the CM today and google’d it. Fantastic Plastic Machine. Whether they be plastic and/or machine I don’t know, but they are pretty fantastic. Check them out.
Oh, and the guy who directed the original Digimon movie (Mamoru Hosoda) did the animated video.
Holy crap… So unlike the awesome Japanese movie I was watching early, this one was complete crap. I used to sort of like Super Junior so I thought I’d give their movie a chance. Boy was that a mistake. This movie is obviously catered to crazy Korean teen fangirls but… Dang… Even those fangirls have standards. The plot was god-awful and the script was poorly written. I can’t really fault the people acting in it because even if they were superb actors, it wouldn’t have made the movie any better. Bahhh…
I hope no one else wastes their time watching this like I did.
I’ve been watching a lot of comedic dramas/movies during the last few days so I thought I’d try watching a more mellow movie. About 2 minutes into the movie, it struck me that the male main character was very familiar. I looked up the actor and found out that it was Hiroshi Tamaki. Aha! He is one of my favorite actors. His performance in Nodame Cantabile was superb and so I had high expectations for this movie. I wasn’t disappointed.In contrast to his role as Chiaki in Nodame Cantabile, his role in this movie was a socially awkward young man. Nothing extreme or out of the ordinary happened in this movie but I felt it was one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. The pace was good. The character development was excellent. It was very well casted. I felt the movie was predictable but the ending left me in tears. It was bittersweet. I won’t bother with a plot summary because I don’t want to ruin it for anyone. I recommend that everyone go watch this movie. It’s beautifully made.
I’m making a new scarf as a backup Christmas present (for *cough* *Daisuke* *cough* shhhhhh…). It’s my third scarf. Hm.. It’s turning out to be the best one I think. I messed up on my first one three times and my second one I experimented a bit but made it too tight (gahh.. it curls). Hope it turns out good. :D
I went downstairs to do my laundry. I only had $4 on flex but I assumed that would be fine since I had about oneload (which was $2.50). But.. I swiped my ID card. And nothing happened. Nothing except the machine taking money from my flex account, but the washing machine wouldn’t start. I went to go find someone so I could give them cash to use money from their flex account. Another student told me to put money into the vending machine and that I’d get quarters if I hit change. No go. I just ended up losing more money.
This is Valentine. I picked him up at Walmart a little while ago. He’s a beautiful red betta fish.
Sorry ’bout the crappy pictures. I don’t know how to adjust my camera to take pictures of him properly. He’s a lot better looking than the pictures.
This year was my first for going Black Friday shopping. We planned to go at 3AM to Best Buy to buy a 500gb harddrive for $99.99 (quite the deal :D). We got to Best Buy around 3:30. Man… It was snowing out! We stood in line for the next hour and half, waiting to get inside. It wasn’t too bad. I was wearing 3 layers on top and two on bottom and also a beanie. The line of people waiting to get inside Best Buy was pretty ridiculous. When we first got there, it must have been about 300 people long. By the time it was time to go inside, it was probably at least 500 people long. The news crews were in the parking lot interviewing people. We got inside around 5 and spent the next hour getting the harddrive, wandering, and then standing in the long line for checking out. The place was really crowded. There was people packed in every aisle. I thought it was a fun experience. It turned out to be a fun hangout with friends.
I really need to go to sleep now. I’m so tired from all the standing in lines and waiting. x_x;
Aha, I just finished watching the first two episodes of this drama. As I suspected, it was really cliche and cheesy. The lines the actors had to say were hilariously bad. The acting wasn’t quite Princess Princess D bad, but it’s almost there. It did make me smile and laugh though. I kept thinking about how horrible the plot/acting/characters was while I was watching but it also made me feel good inside. Oh man… I’m just hopelessly in love with sappy dramas. I can’t wait to see if it gets any worse.

Ahh… a lot of people are reading this post so I guess I should write a short summary of the plot.
A team of 3 boys are part of a secret beauty salon. Now this beauty salon has a special gimmick. In her time of deepest need for beauty, the woman will receive an invitation to the salon. There, she will be given a single chance to choose of the three boys to make her perfect. The woman will receive a complete makeover: hair, clothes, makeup, etc.
I’m not going to post a link for the episodes but just google the drama name. There are a couple of torrents and downloads out there. ;D
This is such a great song. Well, maybe not really all that great. But it’s easy to listen to and Ketsumeishi reminds me of Sakanoue Yousuke in this song.

So I’ve been feeling a little down about people, school, and life in general. But with tests out of the way until at least after next week, things are looking up. Oh. So something happened earlier. This bus driver asked me how I was doing, how school was going and such. He dropped me off in front of my dorm. But right before, he tells me that he’s going to go around the parking lot to go back to campus and watch me and see that I go back to my dorm safely. Ah… It’s kind of funny. I’ve gotten more concern and advice from the bus drivers at school than I’ve ever gotten from my teachers in grade school. I’m glad that there are still genuinely kind and honest people around.
